Beauty packing for me & him for a long weekend getaway, with just the essentials.
Biotherm Homme “Aquapower” face cream and Eye De-Puffer do the job for hubbie, who can use up to two-three products per day -men are bored so easily that it’s better to keep their beauty routine to minimum.
As for me, I try (hard, it is hard) to pack just the necessary, so here it goes:
Biotherm Aquasource keeps my face skin hydrated for 48 hours, so I don’t really need to take a night cream with me. Luminessence is one of the best products of Giorgio Armani in my humble opinion, a BB cream with SPF 50/PA+++ that lightly covers the skin and leaves it literally glowing. I also use it under the eyes as a brightening concealer, I love it.
Red lips, as always. Dolce & Gabbana “Dora” 5210 lipstick. When I don’t feel like wearing lip colour, Collagenist Re-Plump Lip Zoom by Helena Rubinstein is my alternative, which offers instant plumpness. Anti-drying body milk by Biotherm. And the latest addition to Moroccanoil family and to my beauty case, the Dry Shampoo for a soft, silky feel that can -wait for it- even absorb the salt and moist after the sea. The best dry shampoo in the market.

Golden Rules
A week with plenty beauty arrivals just in time to welcome March.
Kérastase launched the new luxe series “Chronologiste”, introducing an innovative exfoliating rinse-out product for the first time.
“Soin Gommage Renovateur” is to be used prior to the shampoo and the rejuvenating hair mask for deep detox.
The procedure is completed with the “Parfum en Huile”, a scented hair oil conceived by the famous perfumer Alberto Morillas,
giving a shiny and silky look.
I performed the whole ritual -followed by a head and neck massage- at Andreas Coiffure, which left my hair
lightweight and glowing. However, if you prefer to enjoy the ritual at home, you can have an amazing outcome as well especially with a professional hair dryer and brush like the ones by Remington.
Giorgio Armani also launched the Summer 2015 collection consisting of an earthy eye shadow palette, a nude sparkly lipstick, a discreet shimmering powder and a bronze nail polish. In addition, the Armani Prive perfume series counts a new member, “Pivoine Suzhou”, inspired by the gardens of Asia and more specifically the Chinese peonies *eyeroll*
Last but not least, my newest nail lacquer obsession “All eyes on nude” belongs to the Cashmere Matte collection of Essie and it’s the absolute nude color.
Red, again.
It’s that time of the year again, when I leave the dull color palette of my wardrobe behind and I make some attempts for vivid prints (blame it on April). The floral shirt is American Retro from Simple Caractere stores and that vibrant red you see on the lips is the result of Giorgio Armani Maestro lipstick, finished with the newest product of senior Armani, the Flash Lacquer lip gloss, which is non-sticky and stays between your lips -and won’t travel towards your nostrils, let’s say.
The pale pink snakeskin Gianvito Rossi pumps and the Juicy Couture bird ring is from the “Value for Style” event of Factory Outlet, where, admittedly, we found gorgeous pieces in unbelievable prices. The heart shaped street art is some romantic’s soul attempt to beautify the ugly graffitis of downtown Athens and the rest is just homemade garniture.
Armani dresses up Watts
Giorgio Armani knows well how to make suits and elegant deux-pieces so who could be more appropriate to design the costumes of the ‘Fair Game’ movie? The film is based on the true story from the memoirs of the outed former covert CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson and her husband, Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson. Naomi Watts stars as Plame Wilson, with Sean Penn playing her husband. CIA agents look better in Armanis! (especially if they have Naomi’s looks).
The movie debuts in Greece today
