I added a parisian note to my LFW wardrobe by sporting an old favourite Balenciaga baggie pair of trousers
with an H&M fitted jacket. Silver booties are everything, right?
Grosgrain pearl embroidered choker by Johanna Daniil.

The reason of my last trip in Rome was an opera production. Sofia Coppola directed “La Traviata” for the recently renovated Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, while all costumes where signed by Valentino. Once again we stayed at Hotel Quirinale (impossible to forget its garden from my last trip there), which is so conveniently located next to the Opera house. Had the best carbonara at Roscioli. Did some serious shopping. Ate tons of ice cream. Walked around for hours. Enjoyed an aperitivo at Hotel de Russie. Always a pleasure to be a tourist in Rome.
It’s been four years since I last visited Belgium and five years since the first time, to spend a couple of days with my friends that live abroad. Who says this country is dull?
Locals always know the best places to visit/eat/drink.
The bloomed facade of Pierre Marcolini’s main store at Sablon -you know how I love his chocolate–
and the mini ice creams that you can make as you wish.
The staircase of the house where we stayed.
Charming Gent and its gothic churches.
Amazing thai food at Premier Comptoir Thai.
I fell in love with Antwerp.
The Impressionism exhibition and the “A.Serrano:Uncensored Photographs” at the Magritte Museum.
The best traditional kitchen at “Le Pré-Salé”.
My beautiful friends.
During my annual date with Tinos:
Swiming and eating was my daily routine.
My boys were the best fellow travelers I could ever ask.
Tinos offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece (if not in the whole world).
It was very windy -it always is.
The sunset photo was taken at Triantaros village.
All pareos and scarfs featured here are from TE.Pareo.
Try the local cheese/honey/figs -I ate tons of them and still fitted in my 50s high waisted bikinis (obsession is the right word to use). Try fish soup at Maistros tavern at Panormos, local delicacies at Eleni at Triantaros and all you can eat at Thalassaki, Isternia bay.
The boys fished 4 kg of fish. That’s what boys do.
I spent the last five days in Rome living La Dolce Vita, due to a very special occasion. The wedding of my dearest friends Cici and Andreas. A four-day of unforgettable moment sharing with the ones I love. Here is a photo calendar of my trip, from the magnificent garden of Hotel Quirinale to the food experience in Rome.
Highlights: The gigantic tree in the garden of Quirinale, the live jazz at Etabli vineria, the welcome cocktail party at Salotto 42 (ranked Νο.2 in the best 100 bars by Worldsbestbars.com), the raw seafood at Baccano, the day trip at village Ariccia, the homemade tiramisu at Casa & Bottega, Rome in full bloom, Cici in her green dress looking happier than ever.
