headpiece, bracelets and sandals- golden details from Vionnet ss2011 collection
after Boudicca, i had an appointment at Pierre Hardy press office, one of my favorites shoe designers- i think i own most of of his accessories than any other designer’s now that i think about it. the collection was immense, i walked around and kept seeing shoes forever. as always, a great job.
can you spot the buildings?
next in the program sheet was the opening of Erotokritos new flagship store at Boulevard Beaumarchais and the private screening of the fashion film “La lutte de l’amour” by Antoine Asseraf, featuring Erotokritos’ new summer collection. of course we went over to congratulate Erotokritos for his boutique and watch the film.
Lanvin show would start immediately after Margiela (of course only when Carine and Anna were in) but on the other side of the city, meaning you have to be quick. It was raining, my precious shoes nearly survived the disaster and the buses of the defiles were full in no time. Apparently i wasn’t quick enough. I had to follow some asian journalists- they always know where the closest taxi-nest is and ta-daaa! i shared a cab wit my new friend from Hong-Kong and prayed holding hands to arrive on time.
thank god we did. the venue was huge and packed. of course you don’t expect to find your seat, you’ll be lucky to just seat anywhere.
Alber i think i love you
Last night, after seeing three amazing shows in Paris, returned home exhausted and content and happy to post the beautiful things I saw at Maison Martin Margiela,Lanvin and Vivienne Westwood defiles.
Guess what I’d done. I’d taken the wrong usb stick with me in Paris. Oh yes, clever or what.
So here i am today after some small electronic equipment shopping to post you how special and precise and unmistakeable the collection and the catwalk show of Margiela was.
Vogue Hellas fashion editor Giorgia Pantele travelled to Milan for the fashion week and has some things to show us:
