What is the link between chocolate and fashion?

Greek fashion designer Dimitris Petrou has been chosen as the ambassador to represent Greece in Cannes and celebrate the 25 year anniversary of “Magic” by Algida, one of the most popular ice creams worldwide. For this special occasion Dimitris Petrou designed an haute couture silk dress, inspired by the curves, the chocolate and the layers of a classic Magic ice cream, which will be sent in Cannes this summer, especially for an international 25-year celebration event.

The dress is ethereal and has a grecian touch. It is made of brown, creme and mocha pleated silk and is finished with a golden-lace belt. Couldn’t think of anything more appropriate.

For the twill of it

Four days are left for Dimitris Petrou highly anticipated fashion show and I had the pleasure to attend the private preview, which might have shown us nothing from the collection but yet, hairstylist Dimitris Sarantou (who will take care of the models hair for the catwalk), talked to us through all the high quality products of Moroccanoil and shared some hairstyle secrets. Plus, Essie was the there with all the new Fall/Winter colors -Dimitris Petrou chose “For the twill of it” for his presentaion, the green purple metallic color that makes your nails sparkle as a queen Μay beetle.

Backstage: Madwalk 2013

Fashion designers. stylists, make up artists, photographers, singers and dancers, in a Madwalk frenzy last night. Here I present you backstage photos of the participants at this year’s Madwalk, Dimitris Petrou, NatarGeorgiou, DeuxHommes, Sotiris Georgiou, Madame Shoushou, Stelios Koudounaris, Apostolos Mitropoulos with the jewelry of Mimika Ciboyianni and Konstantinos Melis by Laskos. Use&Diffuse at TR2

Fashion Director of Vogue Hellas Michael Pandos, in coordination with George C.Carabellas, owner of TR2 concept boutique, curated the creation of a capsule collection by five Greek designers. The result is a limited edition of unisex pieces (in consumer-fiendly prices), with the signature of some of the best names in greek fashion (Sotiris Georgiou, Dimitris Petrou, Katerina Psoma, Stathis Samantas and Chris P.), and it was presented yesterday at TR2 The Kolonaki edition, in another “Dolce Far Niente” Wednesday.
