Fashion Room Service XXL

The biggest FRS so far took place in several buildings of Athens, including the lately renewed Grecotel boutique Hotel “Pallas Athena” and Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya.

The highlights:
The rooms and suites of Pallas Athena look gorgeous and youthful, with graffitis and art pieces all around and in every single room. Suite “Octopussy” is definitely my favorite.
The knits of Pepper Vally made by greek organic cotton and wool.
The sunglasses of Deepshallowexposition with round lenses and their debut collection of bangles and cuffs.
The summer collection of V Society and especially the silk dresses.
The perforated leather skirts of Anna Veneti.
The DeuxHommes, Somf and Atelier Loukia installations at Fashion Workshop Building II were a smash hit.

Into the Fashion Wonderland

A big fancy fairy-tale party was the way that Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya chose to celebrate Christmas and the big success of its blogzine www.intothefashionworkshop.com, in which I have the honor and pleasure to participate.

The decoration and dresscode was inspired by Tim Walker’s photoshoots and Tim Burton’s dark movies,

so this left the guests with some freedom regarding their attire.

Vicky was a fabulous hostess, Catherine Baba was also there as the guest of honor invited especially for the party, beautiful people and fever music  -definitely a great party.

The latest project curated by the students of Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya was to conceive and create the window shop of Mageia boutique on Haritos str, that was unveiled on Thursday afternoon and celebrated the way it should: with big smiles and joy. Well done girls! See more photos here.

Fashion Talks

I spent my Saturday noon at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kagia, participating in the panel of the 6th Fashion Talk  (Workshop’s  series of fashion seminars), amongst publishers and journalists, debating on Printed versus Digital Magazines. A very interesting conversation and an exciting experience overall.
