Ι’m deeply touched and proud of my dearest Filep Motwary for taking things up a notch.
His latest project is none other than the fashion exhibition “Haute-à-Porter” at Modemuseum in Hasselt, Belgium, which he personally curated. Through an immense archive of garments, photography, film and art,
the exhibition examines the influence of haute couture at pret-à-porter and highlights its significance in contemporary fashion.
Dior, Chanel, Erdem, Kenzo, Burberry, Lanvin, Rochas, Nina Ricci, Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto, Givenchy, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh, Roger Vivier, Prada, Dries Van Noten, Christian Lacroix, Mary Katrantzou, Jil Sander, Balmain, Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, Alberta Ferretti, Thierry Mugler, Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons, Giambattista Valli, Balmain, Rick Owens, Giles, Christian Louboutin, Marios Schwab, Alexander McQueen are only some of the participant designers, whose showcased creations offer a unique insight into the fashion industry of the last 30 years.
Unfortunately I could not attend the opening but my friends were there to enjoy a majestic exhibition (and take for me as many pictures as possible ♡).
