After its huge success last year, A.N.G.E.L.O vintage returned at Mcarthurglen Athens, with new vintage jewels that need to find a new home. If you ask me, I’d suggest to invest either on a great bag, which you can find in really good prices, or a nice coat – I think that the coats of A.N.G.E.L.O’s collection are pretty amazing, just take a look at the green leather patchwork below and the blue velvet cape. The Vintage Festival starts today, until the 3rd of November. The sooner you visit, the more you’ll get to discover.
Ahh. Vintage-like rings. Give me grandma’s type gold rings with colorful gems and keep me yours forever.
The ones below are my picks from the Jewellery World, whereI came across a tonne of gold rings. The one with the amethyst is on its way to my left hand, fyi.
It was a cold and drizzle night but I had two parties to attend, after a long period of mainly staying in or going out 19.00 to 22.00, so I pulled the night off with my vintage fur coat -which by the way looked great in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. Flowering quince is the pre-spring harbinger (are you out there somewhere?), as well as the anemones and lilacs that begin to make an appearance at this time of the year. The crystal necklace is my latest ♡, by designer Mimika Ciboyianni.
For the end, here is last night’s music highlight:
The one and only Jenny Vanou in an early 80s hymn of greek disco psych, played by DJ Bad Spencer.
Last night at the private view of the famous A.N.G.E.L.O collection (which, as I mentioned before, opened its doors to public today), I fed my eyes and vintage hunger with the most beautiful looks of previous decades. Apart from the designer pieces, such as Celine, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Pucci, Chanel and Valentino just to mention a few, you can also find vintage treasures that don’t carry a precious signature, all in extremely good prices (trust me, I checked). A ride up to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet deserves to be ranked high into your next month’s t0-do list.
All those vintage treasures that you see here and many more, are not some kind of a vague dream
that fades away when you open your eyes.
The worldwide known vintage collection of A.N.G.E.L.O lands in Athens on November 9th (!) and gives you the chance to add some iconic pieces to your wardrobe. From an Hermes Kelly bag to an 80s Versace pair of pants and Yves-Saint Laurent sunglasses from the 70s, the impressive collection of A.N.G.E.L.O will be available at McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, during a Vintage Festival until the 8th of December.

something like the house of my dreams, with two special friends, collectible dolls amongst adorable vintage items, people reincarnated into cats speaking greek and the most bright morning light of downtown athens. my sunday noon.
berlin is full of vintage shops where you can find anything you want, tons of 80′s clothes and accessories, all in very good condition and extremely good prices. while walking around i bumped into this vintage shop, quite different from anything else. The perfect store if your name is Barbie and you’re having a wedding in a Barbie World. oh how i’d love to grab my best girlfriend inside and try all the meringue dresses till next day
Barbie’s bridesmaids dresses from the asylum
and amazing 60′s silk dresses embroidered with crystals and beads. Look this magnificent handcraftlucky them the store was closed cause i would still be inside dressing up and taking photos.
it’s strange though cause i did find a pastry shop last year somewhere in Brooklyn, with cakes in the same colors and naked Barbies and Kens on the top! i just had to take that picture back then and now i know why: a year after, the organizing of a perfect ceremony has been completed.
