A walk at McArthurGlen Athens is never disappointing. I came across Carlo Pazolini shop where I found dozens of ultra elegant brogues and masculine mid-heel shoes that looked great with a Pierre Balmain double breasted jacket I saw later at Alberta Ferretti. Note to reader: At Alberta Ferretti you can also find incredible stuff of other fashion houses such as Dsquared2, John Galliano, Red Valentino and more. I’m making my Christmas wish list and shoes has always been my starting point. Now I can delightfully add a Dsquared2 gown and that gorgeous Pierre Balmain jacket.
If you’re planning to pay a visit at McArthurGlen keep in mind the big celebration on Friday November 15th, when the Christmas tree will be lit!
From left to right: Booties and brogues at Carlo Pazolini. Pierre Balmain jacket, Dsquared2 wallet, Malo pumps, Dsquared2 black & white gown and crystal bracelet, Alberta Ferretti beaded tulle dress, all at Alberta Ferretti shop.
I am VERY excited about this: Premiere boutique is the new it shop located at 22 Laodikis str. in Glyfada, of jewelry & accessories designer Mimika Ciboyianni. Apart from Mimika’s new collection of statement jewels and bags, you can also find some amazing pieces by fashion designer Lefteris Yiannikos -and many more to come as I was informed. I went a bit crazy with the clothes and here is my top selection (I’m obsessed with the deux pieces suits, the brocade skirt-shorts, the peplum belts and the new necklaces).
Lately: MCM black & white lizard bag and very own travel case signed with my name by a great calligrapher, neon fuchsia Pierre Hardy clutch bag, cropped Somf jumper, personalised optical t-shirt by Frock n Roll. Selfies or selfish? Both HA.
Apart from the “Style Secrets” at Votre Beaute magazine, August 2013, you can find in the same issue my Top 10 Accessories for F/W 2013-14 (and some good reasons why to invest in them), plus a spread regarding the Punk frenzy that has been taking catwalks by storm.

Geppetto and Betty, Betty and Geppetto. A true love story, a relationship to last. Pavlina’s Geppeto and my Betty were photographed together last week for the new “Ippolito loves Geppetto” campaign and their lives were bound for ever. For those who don’t already know the concept, the collection consists of cat and dog collars and the cutest small pochettes, in order to remind you to always carry with you a bag, treats and an atropine injection for emergencies. 30 % of the profits go straight to Anim.A.L Friends Society, for the dogs that suffer from Kalazar.
Fun times with photographer Ioanna Chatziandreou and the rest of the team at Ippolito’sshowroom downtown.
Literally in love with my new Juicy Couture bandage skirt, here paired with mom’s vintage pineapple top from the 80s and my I’ve-no-idea-where-I-got-it necklace, bringing all together a somewhat exotic marine look.
I had been waiting too long for the time to arrive that this gorgeous Stella McCartney jumpsuit would come out of my closet. Especially bought a few months ago for my best friend’s wedding in Rome, this silk satin dream with cut-outs decorated with tiny oranges in baby blue color was created for me from the very beginning, although Stella ignores the trivia.
Pared with my Jil Sander sling-backs and sprinkled with some crystal-cluttering, when I slip in it I insistently refuse to take it of.
Following the first post of my visit at Lanvin headquarters, here comes the second part that includes almost all the accessories from the Lanvin Summer 2013 collection. Python pumps in metallics, gorgeous shoulder bags and tiny minaudieres and the famous Lanvin crystal jewels. Knock yourselves out.
For the new Spring-Summer 2013 collection, Christian Louboutin asked again Peter Lippmann to shoot the lookbook images. The inspiration this time is «fishing men» and the images are a realistic staging of Peter Lippmann’s idea.
I was recently asked by missbloom.gr, among other girls, to present my Christmas essentials. Since my wardrobe palette is rather boring with lots of blacks and blues, I usually add some color with my accessories, mainly shoes and jewelry. Pointy shoes, crystals and some luxury goodies like my Serge Lutens perfume or a good facial day creme is what got on my list.
I now take it a step further and make a xmas wish list.
This Stella McCartney light blue shirt dress is on top of my wish list, together with a pair of Jil Sander color-block sling backs, that I instantly fell in love with when we first met in March at Raf Simon’s very last fashion show for the house.
I love luxury paper. I keep collecting personal stationary since the age of 6. I also love birds. Can I ask Santa for this Bird Box by Bernard Maisner?
It includes post cards and statement cards with hand painted exotic birds *sigh* by Mr. Maisner himself.
The best way to wear a total denim outfit is escorted by a cluster of crystals. Mariaflora and me tried different combinations the other day and I ended up with a tiger necklace and a pair of bold earrings that I totally love.
All jewelry by Accessorize.
Last night at the private view of the famous A.N.G.E.L.O collection (which, as I mentioned before, opened its doors to public today), I fed my eyes and vintage hunger with the most beautiful looks of previous decades. Apart from the designer pieces, such as Celine, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Pucci, Chanel and Valentino just to mention a few, you can also find vintage treasures that don’t carry a precious signature, all in extremely good prices (trust me, I checked). A ride up to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet deserves to be ranked high into your next month’s t0-do list.
Riccardo Tisci introduces printed paisley motifs, across a variety of Givenchy’s men’s clothes and accessories.A bold version contrasts white and green whilst another appears in vintage army aircrafts intertwined in coloured kakhi paisley.
Fashion Director of Vogue Hellas Michael Pandos, in coordination with George C.Carabellas, owner of TR2 concept boutique, curated the creation of a capsule collection by five Greek designers. The result is a limited edition of unisex pieces (in consumer-fiendly prices), with the signature of some of the best names in greek fashion (Sotiris Georgiou, Dimitris Petrou, Katerina Psoma, Stathis Samantas and Chris P.), and it was presented yesterday at TR2 The Kolonaki edition, in another “Dolce Far Niente” Wednesday.
