I got myself this H&M knitted top and midi skirt the other day and a couple of hours later I went for some made-to-order icecream at Magic Pleasure Store and THIS happened. When an outfit subconsciously overwhelms you so much
that you match your icecream with it. So yeah, this happened, and that’s me making a fuzz out of it cause I love those stupid little details you know.
As you we enter day by day the summer makeup continuum, the truth is that there is a narrow window of success. Somewhere in the middle between a light make up that melts away after 30 minutes and a heavy one with powders that turn into mud,
is the goal—makeup that stays luminous and natural, as it should be. During our annual -and very refreshing indeed- appointment with Korres we explored the new formulas that will help us pull through the summer.
First of all, two of their best sellers, the facial sunscreens with yogurt and grape are renewed and now you can find their tinted version that apart from sun protection they offer a nicely sunkissed effect, moisturized and dewy.
Then you have “the Sea Flowers” bronzer contained in a very 80s compact design awash with pink, terracotta and shimmering white that looks like you’ve stolen it from your mom’s drawer -and you’re five again. That bronzer you can use both as a blush and a contouring essential, a product to replace many.
For those who their divine french perfume suddenly seems unbearable under the scorching greek sun, Korres launched a series of body splashes -Mango Candy, Apple Blossom, Coconut Sand, Summer Wood, you name it. I opted for Pure Cotton which smells like fresh crisp seeds.
Last but not least, to the nail colours collection were added the “Sea Flowers” in vivid hues.
Stefania Frangista, the young girl that used to make pink hued teen bikinis grew up and matured through her designs and experience, and is here to present for Summer 2015 her most feminine work by now:
an elegant collection inspired by the island of Hydra in a charming color palette.
Here are my personal picks.
So the news is that I plan on spending the upcoming summer in this:
A sheer oversized kimono in white by Clotho, whose entire new collection I find ideal for la vie quotidienne in Greece.
Here sporting it over a 50s high waisted bikini at Sounio last weekend, while without any hesitation whatsoever I wore it a couple of days earlier as a majestic frock with a beige lace lingerie dress underneath,
for the Cosmo 15 anniversary party of Cosmopolitan mag.

During the three-day festival at Technopolis you will also find the famous “Food Truck” of George Glinos,
live music and a food blogger’s corner.
It was that day when I’d almost die on sugar and cheesecream, the day when Stelios Parliaros, Number 1 patissier in Greece, prepared for all six of us bloggers the best italian sweets.
In “Sweet Alchemy” May’s issue you can find all the recipes and us talking about italian fashion, design, cuisine.
