Devine, once again.
Eyewear. Some of the most fashion forward brands currently, are gathered in a very important eyewear company, Safilo Group, that invited us yesterday to see all the new Summer 2013 collections of fashion houses like Dior, Celine, Bottega Veneta, Yves-Saint Laurent, Gucci and Marc Jacobs. I tried on dozens of sunglasses but -given that I’ve grown a small obsession the past few years- Celine were two steps ahead of them all.
Thursday morning in mocha color palette: espresso at home, a different angle of Hilton Hotel and my upper body.
This post is up mainly to show you my new vintage addition: a Versace medusa necklace that I recently acquired from Dezaar, a vintage and second-hand shop at the area of Gazi, where one can find old designer pieces and used high-street brands in excellent condition and in prices one won’t believe. Be prepared to dive into hundreds of clothes and keep in mind to have at least two hours ahead for shopping. Oh, and to whoever gets that vintage Alaia dress: Not to forget to send me a photo.

Miuccia Prada has collaborated with Baz Luhrmann and legendary costume designer Catherine Martin to create a bespoke collection of over 40 unique Miu Miu and Prada cocktail and evening dresses for the move “The Great Gatsby”, inspired by selected runway looks from the last 20 years.
Here are the first sketches that Prada just released.
Knee-length dress in octane-coloured tulle lined in matching silk cady. In the front, tulle is embroidered with a precious ramage pattern in crystal-coloured Swarovski. The dress’s cuts are highlighted by subtle contrasting details in black silk.
Orange organza dress enriched with plastic fish scale-like sequin embroidery. Inspired by the Prada Fall/Winter 2011 collection
Radzmire dress with bustier embroidered with pearls, stones and sequin fringes. Inspired by a revisited silhouette of the 1920s, it is made contemporary by the use of modern fabrics and embroideries of the 1950s.

Right before Christmas holidays, the ladies and gents of the Yves-Saint Laurent cosmetics in Greece invited beauty editors and bloggers to write their own manifesto on an YSL paper, all revealed today (with heavy rain), on the name of the perfume “Manifesto” and the new advertising campaign with Jessica Chastain. There’s no picture of Jessica whatsoever, but you can enjoy us three girls in the gorgeous “Joie de vivre au Chateau” mansion up in Kifissia and our pieces.
It was late summer when Common Heat introduced me to Jai Paul and still, the same groovy feelings flow through me after all the repeats.
I think it’ll be like that every time with this track.

First excursion in a while.
I was more of a weekender than I could possibly be. My need for a gettaway drove me to the mounts of Arcadia, at Michael Pandos’s country house
-man! does this guy know to make beautiful living spaces.
Below you can see me, mainly lying in various corners of the house and around the village/lake/yard, doing practically nothing. I did pretty good. Before I left the city Thanos Samaras suggested to make my own poncho (as a good fashion editor would do) but, thankfully, Michael had blankets and ponchos in every couch or chair possible and spared me some time and effort.

ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion, the exhibition presented by Atopos cvc in 2011 in Athens, this February travels to Paris.

Based on an original idea by Vasslis Zidianakis, ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion is the first international exhibition on character design in fashion and art. Characters are abstract, reduced figures with a strong anthropomorphic appeal and bold graphical silhouette. Participating designers and artists reshape the human body and reveal a new universe full of dreams, nightmares and hybrid creatures.
The outcome of extensive research that became ATOPOS’s unique publication Not a Toy and following the success of its first presentation at the Benaki Museum in Athens, ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion will now be hosting creations by 55 fashion designers and artists from around the world as well as loans from the ModeMuseum, Antwerp and thedestefashioncollection.
