Vogue, Korres & zillions of bottles

As I promised you after my visit at Korres Natural Products headquarters, here is the fashion editorial we did back in 2007 with Vogue Hellas team at Korres factory, which was a futuristic story about shapes and new, high technology fabrics and materials.

Michael Pandos was the editor and Kostas Avgoulis the photographer.

Plus, extra photos from the laboratories and the production stage, where we spent most of our time during our small excursion there on Tuesday.

The Korres Success Story

Dear diary, today I had the best time.

I felt like a student attending an educational visit to a candy factory, only in this occasion it was a visit to the futuristic and of extremely high standards factory of Korres Natural Products. Lena Korres, George Anthoulakis and the rest of the Korres team were gracious hosts, in the most well organized event I’ve attended the past few months. A tour around the plant facilities, the production line, the homeopathic section, the laboratories where the evolution of new ideas takes place, escorted by a presentation of the history of the brand and usefull

information, were more than interesting and enlightening.

This wasn’t the first time i visited Korres factory, since when it was first built, together with the Vogue Hellas team we did an entire fashion shooting there- and one of my favourites. A blast-from-the-past post and more photos to follow soon.

Congratulations to Korres “family” for the hard work, the succesful penetration to the

international markets, the design, the unique quality check  and the vision.

a mid-summer warm night under a full moon at Thission, out at the wonderful terrace of George C. Carabellas’s soon-to-be-ex-house was the set-up for a cocktail soiree, something 0f a goodbye party, a good chance to catch up with friends and use chalk (i don’t event want to think when was the last time I wrote on a blackboard), declaring on the walls what consists one’s summer manifesto. Pretty girls and handsome boys was, apparently, the secret theme of the gathering: Miss-Athenes, Michael Pandos, LemonCake, Dimitris Sarantou, All You Need is Style, Dimitris Petrou, Stamos Michael and Olivia were just some of the beauties that paraded at the architectural jewel at Thission.
