Parallel Universes
Prada Parallel Universes is the creative path imagined by graphic designer and artist Vahram Muratyan, a virtual road/paved
with Prada spring/summer 2012 mens and womens accessories, which highlights through rapid and intuitive movements two parallel universes that meet under the auspices of Prada style.
The new project is going on-line today and very soon is going to be “wearble”, too!

nonchalance
What i really needed for my easter holidays was to stay home. Just stay there.
And relax by taking some good care of the house, cooking, dying psychedelic easter eggs and taking the usual annual photos of my wisteria tree, in full bloom. I also enjoyed a semi-celebrational vegie thai dinner at Miss-Athenes’s. Very. And some good music. And a hair mask. And matching my eggs with details of the house.

Fashion Talks
I spent my Saturday noon at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kagia, participating in the panel of the 6th Fashion Talk (Workshop’s series of fashion seminars), amongst publishers and journalists, debating on Printed versus Digital Magazines. A very interesting conversation and an exciting experience overall.

Idi Prikos
“Idi Prikos” is the latest mania and secret love of Eleni Psychouli: having spent hours and hours embroidering, Eleni created a folk-art treasure consisting of handmade pillow cases, tableclothes and towels, by combining grandma’s crochet handcrafts, silk and velvet fabrics from her trips around the world, vintage ribbons and cloths. The outcome is a greek-fusion collage memoire, of past decades that you’ve never lived and places you’ve never visited, but you keep them in your heart with warmth

The collection was presented yesterday at TR2 concept store, and standed out perfectly in the white sterilized enviroment
Marni at Salone del Mobile 2012
Marni presents, during Salone del Mobile 2012, a collection of 100 chairs which have been made in Colombia by ex-prisoners, aiming to reinforce their resettlement into social and working life. All chairs consist of metal structure and multi-colored PVC threads.
The chairs are linked to the “L’Arte del Ritratto” project through a photo exhibition, created in collaboration with the photographer and filmmaker Francesco Iodice, who will use the chairs as background for a series of portraits of Marni teams from different departments. “L’Arte del Ritratto” is an homage dedicated to them, destined to last in time, which is also accompanied by a video that reports the shooting experience.
The collection of 100 chairs, the photo exhibition and the video will be presented at the Marni boutique and all photos will be published on ANTICAMERA2, Marni’s online magazine on marni.com during the Salone del Mobile 2012. The amount raised from the sale of the chairs will be entirely donated.
